Moving home is stressful enough. You don’t have to do it all alone.

This lovely client had downsized from a three-bedroom house to a one-bedroom flat, bringing almost everything with her.

With so much to find space for, her new home quickly became overwhelming.

That’s where Neat Life Co stepped in.

After sorting through her belongings and removing six van loads of items for donation or responsible disposal, we created some much-needed breathing space.

From not being able to see the floor to having a place for everything!

This family garage had become a bit of a dumping ground for all the things that didn’t have a home elsewhere.

So we rolled up our sleeves, emptied the lot and laid everything out so we could see exactly what we were working with.

We sorted through what was worth keeping, said goodbye to what was no longer needed and reorganised the space to work for the whole family.

The result? A functional, organised garage with room for all their hobbies, everyday essentials and everything in between.

One playroom. Two sisters. Two different stages of play.

Shared by girls aged five and two, this space needed to make toys accessible for both children while remaining manageable for the family.

We removed toys the youngest had outgrown, grouped the rest into clear categories and created a system both girls could use independently.

The result is a calmer, practical playroom that can adapt as they grow.

Yesterday was my birthday, and I got to spend the day with a lovely Neat Life client.

If you’d told me a year ago that I’d be more excited about helping someone transform their home than eating birthday cake, I probably wouldn’t have believed you!

But here we are.

I’m so grateful that I’m slowly building something that doesn’t just provide an income, but brings me genuine joy. Every client who trusts me with their home is helping me build a business I’m incredibly proud of, and one that I hope will give me the freedom to be present for my family, both financially and by having the flexibility that comes with being my own boss.

It’s still early days, and there’s a long way to go, but I’m taking a moment to appreciate how far I’ve already come.
