We're thrilled to be part of the great Shildon MRC Model Railway Exhibition this weekend at the magnificent Locomotion Museum, Shildon!

We are open this weekend to better meet your needs, but if you are looking for something to do and have the free time...

Please consider joining us at Heighington village Hall on Saturday or Sunday 10am - 4pm, where we will be supporting the Darlington Model Railway Club open weekend. The two day event showcases club members layouts as well as giving out and advice, talking about the club and what they do as well as just chatting all things trains!

We will be supporting them as a trader amongst a few others, but as mentioned we will also be keeping the Sunderland Models shop open on Saturday. So if you can't get up to the event, we should still be able to support your needs here at home, although most stock will be travelling, we'll still keep a good range in the shop for you.

Supporting local events and local businesses is key to our survival especially in these hard times, so whether you support us as a business or support local events by attending, you're keeping the local modelling world going so all support is greatly appreciated!

Join us at Heighington village Hall on 30th and 31st May 10am - 4pm, where we will be supporting the Darlington Model Railway Club open weekend. Join us this today or tomorrow for a Railway modelling event on our doorstep at Nissan Sports & Social Club.

We will also be keeping the shop open today in a change from previous operating, in order to try to better serve as many of your needs as possible. Most model rail items will be travelling with us to the exhibition though.
