From 8th September, my Alldis Art Exhibition at Twentyfournortheast will follow on from the wonderful Victoria Tanner artworks currently exhibiting (you really should pop in to see her artworks).
Here is the next preview of my exhibition section exploring mental health issues: ISOLATION (67cm x 67cm framed oil on canvas). It depicts an isolated, trapped figure confined by the canvas, and raises the issue of isolation on mental health. The figure is depicted with stylised scarring covering its entire body. The background is also deliberately scarred and scratched by the artist. The painting will ask many questions of the viewer, and will evoke as many different answers and interpretations. What does the painting represent to you? How does this painting make you feel?

Hi everyone, I've been getting some paintings ready for the ALLDIS ART exhibition at the Twentyfournortheast Gallery. Here is a new, never seen before large oil, called INTENSITY. I'll be posting the dates and more information for the exhibition very soon. INTENSITY is part of my series exploring mental health struggles, and has been hanging in my house for many years since it's completion in 2010. Delighted to have the window display spot this week at Twentyfournortheast . Thought it would be nice to display LIONESS AND CUB (original oil on canvas (framed). I've had to dial back the details because of my illness, but I'm trying hard to get back into my art, and I loved working on this figurative piece. It's brilliantly framed, and ready for a new home. NEW - my latest completed work SILHOUETTES is now available on my www.alldisart.online website. Now available to view or buy from my online shop. See it in person, currently on display at Twentyfournortheast , Sunderlands fantastic new art gallery. I've had to dial back the detail on my works now due to the MS affecting my painting hand, but I'm still delighted with this painting. After years of struggling to paint at all, I've found it very therapeutic working on my latest paintings, and I'm so happy to be able to create again.
