I’m taking a couple of days off after tomorrow for a little self-care (and a very well-deserved massage myself 😁💆🏻‍♀️), but I’ll still be checking messages — I may just take a little longer than usual to reply.

✨ Welcome to our new adventure ✨

I'm so excited (and a little bit nervous!) to finally introduce Cosy Corner Calm – a new little branch of Cosy Corner Creations.

For those who don't know me, I'm Carrie, a mam of three who loves being creative and helping people. Many of you will already know me through my eco resin creations and craft workshops, and don't worry... they’re not going anywhere! 💙

This year, I decided to follow another passion of mine and trained in Swedish massage and facial treatments. Since qualifying earlier this year, I’ve spent time practising, building my confidence and perfecting my treatments, and I’m now so excited to open my diary and welcome new clients.

This feels like such a natural next step for me. I’ve always loved helping people, and I genuinely love giving massages and facials. There’s something so special about seeing someone leave feeling lighter, calmer and having taken a little bit of time just for themselves. It’s also been amazing for my own mental health and wellbeing, and has reminded me just how important self-care really is.

I’ll be offering treatments from Rainbows Sensory Space Ltd in Seaham and Mae Rae’s in Durham, and I’m really looking forward to working alongside the lovely Fiona and Verity at Rainbows to provide wellbeing support for parents and carers of SEND children. As a SEND mam myself, I understand how easy it is to put yourself last and how important it is to have a little time to pause, recharge and feel looked after too.

Over the next few weeks, and throughout the school holidays, I’ll only have a limited number of appointments available while I balance family life and my craft workshops. Once September comes and my youngest starts school, I’ll be opening up more availability — so please bear with me while I find my feet. 💙
