I took photos of Isla’s fab display at Stafford Wool Gathering today, but we were so busy I just didn’t get time to share them until now!

The Hjerte Fine Highland wool from Hjertegarn is beautifully soft and so reasonably priced at £3.50 per 40g ball (180m) and you only need 5!

Ooh this is a busy time of year and I don’t know if I’m coming or going!!!

Well, this weekend I’m definitely GOING to my first Stafford Wool Gathering 🥳🥳🥳 so the shop will only be open on Tuesday and Thursday (and will be mostly packed up by Thursday afternoon - so do come earlier if there’s something in particular that you want to get)

My multi coloured Dathan kits are back in stock on my website and Aly’s sea coloured one will be back tomorrow (I forgot to get a photo of it 🤦🏼‍♀️)

The colours will differ slightly from the ones on the samples but will generate the same overall theme

I was looking for examples of mine in use at Shetland Wool Week and there weren’t many photos I wanted to share 😂 but I think the final one is hilarious!

It was taken pretty much at dusk on our final night and I was trying to get a selfie but must have accidentally hit the “portrait” setting which means I’m perfectly in focus and poor Aly has been blurred 🤣🤣🤣🤣

My fabulous friend Jacqui Ann will be doing 2 more crochet workshops at the shop (and maybe more if I ask her nicely ☺️)...

My fabulous friend Jacqui Ann will be doing 2 more crochet workshops at the shop (and maybe more if I ask her nicely ☺️)

On Friday 23rd October she will be teaching Mosaic Crochet with the aim to make a pencil case/pouch with a pre-made fabric pencil case lining (I’m really excited to learn this technique!)

And on Friday 4th December she will be showing how to create beautiful stash buster bags so you can feel virtuous about using up some of your yarn hoard as well as being productive and having something super useful at the end 😂

My Moth and Butterfly brooch kits are now available for pre-order!

All the materials are back in stock so I will be making the kits on Tuesday and will hopefully have some for Stafford Wool Gathering too!

Each little tin is packed full of tiny buttons and beads and mini safety pins, Liberty Lawn scraps, wool blend felt, undyed pure silk thread and hand dyed wool/silk thread, along with template and instructions, so all you need to add are scissors and a sewing needle to make TWO brooches!

My moth has a different Liberty print for each wing but they all blend together really well

But oh my goodness!!!!

Grant’s Bakery how did I not know about you????? 😋

I could have eaten EVERYTHING!!

But of course, as I’m only 5, I just had to have the Toadstool (Matcha Mushroom) 🍄 🍄🍄🍄🍄

And incredibly, it actually tasted even BETTER than it looked!!

Wow!!!
