Another one down! This sub floor was horrendous, old floorboards, old concrete and height differences after previous renovations but after boarding with 9mm ply and two coats of pro flow finish, its was a lot better!

Then came the fitting of the lvt and job done, this stunning new kitchen is another step closer to completion!

Another one down this week in this stunning brand new home in tanfield. After being ground of to remove latiance and build contaminants, it was then epoxy dpm’d before I applied a coat of finish before installing the parquet lvt flooring.

Not bad going for three days! Another transformation on a customers new home. After a coat of pro flow finish self levelling compound, it was time to lay the weathered oak parquet flooring. A day on prep, and a couple longish days fitting and that’s it done, with the carpets to be fitted on Saturday. As always, materials were supplied by MJM Flooring LTD and fitted on behalf of by myself, now to start the weekend early! 🍻

A full ground floor in last week for this stunning new build in Washington. After having the floor ground down to remove contaminants and latinance, I applied a coat of smooth finish before fitting the washed oak parquet lvt. Another very happy home owner! All in a week's work!

Another beautiful transformation on this stunning home!

The existing ceramic tiles were all solid, so could be gone over with a coat of grit primer, before applying Pro flow finish smoothing compound throughout, before the fitting of the herringbone lvt was fitted.

What a difference 5 days makes.... Being honest, my heart sank a little when i walked through the door on Monday morning, even though ide seen the job prior to starting, but come Friday teatime, it was wrapped up (well I need an extra box to finish a cupboard) and done!

A build up of 9mm ply, followed by a layer of 6mm ply in the hall to match the height of the kitchen, and a mix of screed and granite chippings to build up where the old larder was, before a full coat of proflow finish smoothing compound over it all, to leave a level, smooth finish, ready to fit the aurora Freya oakwitha grey grouting strip border.

The job was supplied and fitted on behalf of MJM Flooring LTD for of this stunning new extention and kitchen build.

It looks absolutely stunning, and it's not finished yet!

All in a week's work....

Fulll ground floor (minus living room which is being carpeted), timber side was 6mm ply boarded, before applying at coat of proflow finish, then the fitting of luxury vinyl tile.

It's been a while, so I thought i would have a little update! This stunning transformation in a 19th century home was completed a couple of weeks ago. After preparing the subfloor with 6mm plyboard and a coat of renovation screed, before the fitting of parquet luxury vinyl tile, with a contrasting brown fboatder feature strip, and the the finished job speaks for itself!

The carpet runner was fitted at the end too by James Mackay of mjm flooring, which absolutely finished it off (unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of that 🙈).
