The kitchen the heart of our home 🤎

Honestly, I waited two years for this kitchen and after living without one for that long, I can safely say it was worth every second of the wait 😅 I actually cook now… which if you know me, says a lot.

The kitchen is from Tom Howley and the island colour is Nightshade. I knew from the beginning that I wanted a really big island with lots of depth to it because this is the space where everyone naturally gathers.

One thing we were really conscious of was keeping everything feeling clean and discreet, which is why we chose stools instead of high backed chairs.

And probably our most used feature has to be the coffee cupboard! ☕️

I know kitchens are meant to look beautiful, but for me it was just as important that it also worked properly for how we actually live day to day 🤍

My daughter only ever opens one window at a time in her bedroom, so the perfect solution was adding a single pane flyscreen instead of screening the whole window 👀☀️

So this just made the most sense for how she actually uses the room day to day, and as an added bonus, doing single panes instead of screening the whole window is also more cost effective 🪟
