Sometimes you get the loveliest commissions! I rarely paint landscapes but sometimes it is good to be taken out of your comfort zone. I’ve been very busy away from social media which has been quite lovely!

We’ve had a few days of sickness and then very little sleep last night awaiting for the secondary place announcements but so very happy with the outcome for Connie. There was only one secondary school I could imagine her at and thankfully that’s where she was desperate to go and where she is going!

And now only a few more days to finish the world book day outfits!

Happy it’s the weekend! This is one of my recent commissions which I loved making. Now we’ve nearly finished tackling a section of the garden I need to get on top of Etsy before the festive season and start work on a commission which I’m nervous and excited about starting!

We had a look round a secondary school this week - I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about it all but thankfully we all came out buzzing and had such a good feeling about it.

Not quite sure how we’re already in September! So not ready for the return to school next week!

I’ve got some exciting commissions to begin this month but not remotely ready for the back to school feeling!

We’ve had such a lovely first week off and today I finally got to see the Tina Turner musical and it didn’t disappoint! 😄

Tomorrow we’re back to Sheffield for the Gladiators semi final! 🤞

One more day for me but the girls have broken up and are so happy!

Hopefully (if we’re lucky) we can start the holiday off with lots of fun watching being filmed tomorrow!

This pencil pot had to be made extra special with the addition of Teddy the dog as Connie has loved year 5 😊
