This block paved driveway had sunken areas that needed addressing, so we repaired the worst of them.
After jet washing the drive, those areas of paving were lifted out. It then became apparent that there was a MUCH deeper layer of sand there than required! The sand was removed, a compacted layer of type 1 put in, before relaying the blocks on a suitable layer of sand. The driveway was then sealed.
It's always a pleasure working for these customers!

Full exterior decoration for this property in Swanage.
All uPVC soffit, fascia and guttering cleaned.
Woodwork painted using Zinsser Exterior Allcoat, and masonry painted in Dulux Trade Weathershield.
Handrails in the front garden painted using Hammerite.
Lots of prep work on this one. Full fungicidal wash. Plenty of loose and blown paintwork removed, sealed and painted.
Discoloured and damaged pipework replaced. Rusted flue guard also replaced.
It was a huge amount of work, but a very enjoyable one to do!

I'm lucky enough to do lots of work on this building in Swanage, internally and externally. Working in the sun (most of the time!), with views across the bay, it's a lovely place to be! This is the latest phase of repairs and redecoration to the exterior. This time the front elevation, mainly using Emperor paint products.

These customers wanted to separate their driveway from the path/garden.

It's been an exceptionally busy year so far and the next few months look no different!

This was today's job for some lovely returning customers!
There have been so many different things going on over the last few months to keep me busy! These include emergency water leak repairs, repointing work, fencing, stone wall building, guttering replacement/repair/cleaning, grouting, decking and lots of decorating!

This was a new one for me. I was asked if I could build a 'catio' to the rear of a property in Swanage. We just need the sun to make an appearance for them to enjoy the outside space!

The last 2 weeks have been spent down at the beach in Swanage, and I have loved every minute! Just one more day left next week before moving on to other jobs. Plenty of outdoor work in the diary, so let's hope the sun stays for a few weeks! 🌞
