And that was April, a few cancelled meals, but a good haul, for me it was the French pepper corn sauce steak that was meal of the match. Now, summer is here we turn to our sunshiny recipes and May's theme is 'Cruise Ships' ... weirdly. Here are some of the meals and all the posters

March has been, and it was this month that we finally went to the last country, we done them all!! I'll award Western Sahara's Lamb Broth 'Meal of the Month' as it was so different for us, Phoenix loved it, me too. April is on us and this month's theme is 'Ancient British Pubs' and of course we have Rivers 11th Birthday at the end ... here are most of the meals and all of the posters, well done March, lovely meals, all home made too .... :)

Phoenix and I are aware, though I still want to shield him from all this hate, that things are kicking off in certain countries. We talked about this on the weekend and agreed that we must continue because 'people' are not evil and that 'certain people' are. We'd welcome you into our apartment to eat with us and I bet everything that someone in Jordan would too. This is so hard for us ... all we want to do is connect and explore ... forgive us if we seem distant to what's happening ... our focus, strength, community will always be with the common man/woman/child .... thank you from Phoenix, River, Saxon and myself :) x

.... and that was February and meal of the month has to go to the Lamb freakout in Iraq. We have started to enter a more summer led meals from now on but of course we will dip into the colder climes ... here's all the posters and most of the meals from Feb. :)

And that was a very very long January. The highlights, for me, were the tours of Viking Scandinavia, but the kids and I made some wonderful meals and we are learning all the time. Bring on February! :)

.... and that was November, as always some awesome meals and one's that didn't quite hit the mark. A lot of them were cooked with the kids and some I just had a crack at. Meal of the month? Without doubt, the German Bratwurst meal, which was one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten, let alone cooked. I am very pleased with the kids levelling up and with myself actually. Bring on December!

And that was October. Wonderful memories and food. Argentina was my favourite, that Chimmichurri sauce and steak, wow! Here's how it happened! Roll on November. The kids are learning so much now and starting to show their own style and flair :)
