SBY@home is open 11am til 3pm Tuesday to Saturday. Do contact me by phone or messenger if you want to ask any questions before coming. Features a wide range of brands to suit all purses! Rowan stockist, Rico, Katia, Adriafil, Scheepjes, Sirdar, Malabrigo and more! Lots of great patterns. Fabulous buttons, hooks, needles, and general haberdashery items.

Another new yarn and pattern book from the exciting brand - Lang Yarns!
We have four shades in this - well, this is what Lang has to say about it:
"A cloud-soft blend of merino, alpaca, cotton and polyester makes GALAXY a yarn with a unique character. Mellow gradients, a fine fleece and tweed nups provide visual excitement in the ball".
Neither Tracey nor I have had time to try this one out yet, I don't imagine it'll be too long before one of us gives it a whirl!!

The lovely Anna, friend of mine visiting from Amsterdam - very kindly modelled Tracey's new Sophie Scarf...this scarf has been created using one 50g ball of DK merino and a strand of Rico's Creative Flockchen....as you can see it totally transforms whatever you knit it with! Great fun...we have four colours ... I'll put them up later...
Anna showed me a new way to tie a Sophie.. I don't think I could replicate it - but it looks a bit like the knot girl guides use???!?!?! Answers on a postcard😉🧶

I've been introduced to a new designer today and her patterns do look wide ranging and go from easy to very complicated!
CJJ came into the shop wearing this delectable striped cardigan, double stranded....very luxurious feel! And she fancied making something else by this designer because she loves her tutorials and her design flair!! The designer is Veronika Lindberg.
This Late Checkout Sweater is next on the needles! 🧶

Pauline E certainly knows what colours to wear on a wet and windy Friday, she knitted the jumper in Lang's Magnolia and her Andrea Mowry Shift in Malabrigo Arroyo, an attractive, stylish way to wear wool! 🧶
