According to the Alaskan Dept of fish and game, whilst both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer lose their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually between late November and mid December. Female reindeer however retain their antlers until after they give birth in the spring. Every historical recording shows Santa's reindeer WITH their antlers which proves that every one of them from Rudolph to Blitzen had to be female. This should come as no surprise.......................only women would be able to drag a fat man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night without getting lost!!!
