Feature Friday: Melting in the Sun, Cranking out the Sheds ☀️🪓

As the British summer treats us to an actual heatwave, the team has been sweating it out in the best way possible. To say it’s been a busy one is a massive understatement—we’ve had six structures leave the workshop this week!

Here’s a look at what found a new home while we were busy applying a layer or five of sun cream:

📅 Tuesday: The Double Act
We kicked off the install week with a double delivery into one very lucky garden:

The Potting Paradise: A sleek 7x 5 vertical potting shed, complete with a custom potting bench and two shelves. Ready for some serious green-fingered action.

The Stylish Storage: A 9 x 7 loglap beauty, finished with a heavy-duty 78” x 30” joinery-made door and a durable EPDM rubber roof. Built to outlast the British weather (whenever it decides to rain again).

Wednesday’s trip to Long Eaton was a total game-changer.
The "Best House on the Block" Vibe We installed the ultimate backyard showstopper: a bespoke timber gazebo featuring sleek anthracite trims, adjustable louvres, full electrics, and gorgeous internal vertical cladding. Summer garden parties and BBQs just got a massive upgrade. Active, stylish, and ready to host! 🍹🔥

📅 Thursday: Workshops & Modern Looks
Thursday saw us raising the roof on two completely different styles:
The Workspace: An 8 x 8 workshop featuring double joinery doors and an opening window—perfect for letting a breeze in on days like today.

The Contemporary Clean: A 9 x 6 pent shed, given a sharp, modern edge with anthracite fascia boards.

📅 Friday: The Friday Finishers
We wrapped up a scorching week with two neat, classic builds:

A 7 x 5 pent shed with a single door and two fixed windows to flood it with natural light.
A 7 x 5 apex shed, traditional, sturdy, and topped with high-quality polyester felt.
The team has officially earned a cold pint (or three) this weekend. 🍻

May is in full swing, and the builds just keep getting bigger and more unique! From creative storage solutions to professional workspaces, here’s a look at what the team has been up to:

The "Tree-Hugger" Office (Stamford): A stunning garden office and shed combo. The standout feature? A custom log store built right around an existing tree! Complete with UPVC windows, full insulation, electrics, and sleek internal cladding.

The Crafter’s Sanctuary (Metheringham): A super-functional craft room designed for precision. We installed a purpose-built bench, large windows for natural light, an LED panel for late-night projects, and double glazing to keep it cozy year-round.

The Heavy-Duty Workspace (Lincoln): A robust 16×8 heavy-duty apex shed featuring dual entrances for maximum accessibility and workflow.

The sun is out, the sawdust is flying, and our team has been busy across England getting these stunning timber buildings
manufactured and installed. From practical potting spots to high-end garden rooms, it’s been a massive week at Midland Garden Buildings!

Perfect for the green-fingered enthusiast!
Featuring a 70” x 30” stable door, a full polycarbonate front for maximum light, and two matching medium planters to pull the whole look together. 🪴

• The Stylish Summerhouse (9' x 7')

This log-lap beauty is finished in Protek Royal 'Stone Grey' for that premium look. It’s topped with a heavy-duty 1.14mm EPDM rubber roof and features four full-height windows plus glazed double doors. Sophistication meets durability! 🩶

• The 'Grand Finale' Garden Room

We ended the week strong with a stunning Thermowood vertically clad summerhouse. This isn't just a shed; it's a year-round retreat.
