This client is completely transforming their living room and has dreamed of having a wood burner for some time. Before any installation begins, we're carefully considering the materials that will quietly shape the finished space.

Before the renders. Before the finishes.
Every project starts with a question: how should this space feel, and what deserves the best view?
These sketches rarely make it into the final presentation but they're where the real decisions happen. Something about pen and paper creates space to test ideas and rule out the ones that don't work, before it ever becomes a render.
It's a stage clients don't usually see. One of my favourite parts of the process.

Helping clients visualise their ideas before construction begins.

Interior design isn't always about choosing cushions or paint colours.
Sometimes it's about helping clients picture something that doesn't exist yet.
This garden art studio started as an idea. Before construction began, we created a series of visualisations so the client could see exactly how it would look in their garden. Rather than designing a simple rectangular box, we stepped the front elevation to soften the building and help it sit more naturally within its surroundings.
Being able to see a project before it's built gives clients the confidence to move forward, knowing exactly what they're investing in.

From concept to vision.

Last week we shared the mood board and first glimpses of the scheme, this week, we're bringing it to life.
These photorealistic renders show the converted snug taking shape; a calm, light-filled retreat carved from what was once a garage. The vaulted ceiling and rooflights are designed to draw natural light deep into the space, while the warm neutrals and carefully layered textures are chosen to feel grounded and restorative.
Every detail from the floor finish to the placement of each window is considered as part of the wider ground floor story.
The snug will sit alongside a dedicated home office and connect cohesively with the kitchen, creating a series of spaces that flow naturally and feel designed for living.

Once the build is underway, we'll be sharing the journey every step of the way.

Thoughtful design begins long before the building work starts.

We're currently working on the transformation of an entire ground floor, creating a series of light-filled spaces inspired by nature and designed around the way our clients want to live.

One of the most exciting elements is the garage conversion, a vaulted snug and home office, flooded with natural light through new rooflights and carefully positioned windows, creating a calm and welcoming retreat.

At this stage, the design is fully visualised, every detail considered before a single wall comes down.

Here's a first glimpse of the scheme. We can't wait to share more as the project takes shape.

We're moving away from spaces that simply look beautiful and towards spaces that feel calmer, warmer and more restorative.

Natural materials, softer palettes, layered lighting and comfortable furnishings all play a role, but perhaps the biggest shift is how we view our homes.

Not just as places to live, but places that help us slow down, reconnect and recharge.
