Colour, culture, community.

Our new Fèis Rois scarf, created in collaboration with Fèis Rois, a Highland charity dedicated to keeping traditional arts, crafts, skills and the Gaelic language alive through creative projects.

Inspired by our shared connection to the Highlands and a passion for celebrating and passing on traditional skills, this bright check merino wool scarf is made to wrap up in and bring a little colour to winter.

100% of the money from the first 100 scarves sold goes directly to Fèis Rois, supporting their work with young people and communities across the Highlands.

We have brought back two of our much-loved shapes in Oakleaf, the Large mug and Pasta dish. Both make a lovely pairing for relaxed suppers and cosy nights.

Oakleaf began with these original sketches by ANTA founder Lachie Stewart.

Over the years, the design has evolved, with different colours and details bringing a new character to the familiar leaf. Like all ANTA stoneware, Oakleaf is painted by hand in Fearn.

Behind the Design — Samuel Peploe
Named after the great Scottish Colourist Samuel Peploe, this design is a tribute to one of Scotland’s most celebrated artists. Working in Edinburgh, Peploe had an acute and extraordinary sensitivity to colour, something that deeply inspired our founder, Annie Stewart, during her time at art school in Edinburgh in the 1970s. Annie was fortunate enough to be taught by Denis Peploe, Samuel’s son.
We created this carpet as an homage to this gargantuan Scottish artist, drawing on his instinctive understanding of colour, energy and composition. We hope that, when placed in your home, the design sings - just as his paintings do.
