Funny how life comes full circle…
This week I was asked to restore a school hall — not just any hall, Lyngford Park Primary school the one I sat in over 30 years ago . The exact same place where I used to sit cross-legged during assembly, singing hymns and probably daydreaming about getting outside. Walking back in there brought back a lot of memories, and it’s a real privilege to now be trusted to help bring it back to life.

For this project, we brought in the best. James at 4 Seasons Flooring has absolutely worked his magic bringing this 50 year old Mahogany finger block parquet back to it’s original best. His experience speaks for itself — from projects in the Middle East to London and all across the UK — and when you see his work up close, you understand why he’s so highly regarded.
One thing we pride ourselves on is honesty. We don’t pretend to be able to do everything — but what we will do is make sure the job gets done right. Whether that’s bringing in Shane from S P S Flooring Specialists for specialist wet rooms, or calling on Dan at DBH Flooring for LVT work, we’ve built a network of top professionals we trust.

Sometimes in life (and business), you’ve got to put your ego to one side and say, “I can’t do this one” — but also know the right person who can. That’s what really matters 🤝

Another lovely job completed this week! 🔨✨
We’ve just finished fitting Quickstep Capture 4767 Cracked Oak Natural laminate throughout a bungalow hallway and lounge, giving the space a fresh, natural wood look that’s both stylish and hard-wearing.
To add extra comfort and warmth, we also installed Rustique Ultra “Country Life” carpet, fitted on top of Cloud 9 Contract underlay—perfect for that soft, cushioned feel underfoot while maintaining durability.
This job came to us through a recommendation, which means a lot to us as around 90% of our work is from word of mouth. It’s always great to see happy customers passing our name on! 🙌

We’ve had a few people recently asking, “Have you not been busy? You haven’t posted in a while…”
Honestly, it’s been quite the opposite! We’ve been so busy behind the scenes that we simply haven’t had the time to keep up with posting as much as we’d like. And when we do share, we want it to be meaningful — not just posting for the sake of it or overwhelming everyone with constant updates.
We truly appreciate everyone who checks in and supports what we do. Just because we’re a bit quiet on here doesn’t mean things have slowed down — if anything, it means we’re flat out doing what we love!

After previously completing the 5 apartments it’s nice to have finally completed the communal staircase in this HMO, marking the sixth and final phase of the project. The customers choice of Danfloor Equinox tones in Autumn Dusk, paired with Morley stair nosings, has resulted in a beautiful and durable finish. A notable highlight is the preservation of the original hallway tiles, a rare and welcome sight in today's renovations. This thoughtful touch adds a touch of character and charm, showcasing the property's rich history.

As we dive into 2026, it's refreshing to see the spirit of community and cooperation thriving among local businesses. Recently, our work van was in for some maintenance at Peugeot, and with no courtesy vans available, we were faced with a potential setback. However, the guys at TW Flooring in Bridgwater came to our rescue, generously lending us their spare van for the week. This act of kindness was especially appreciated, this also allowed me to complete a large job of their own to start the week.

Thanks to their support, we were able to complete some outstanding jobs that we had started before Christmas and finish a rental property for Adam at Connells Estate Agents. This experience reinforces the importance of fostering a culture of mutual support among local businesses. Rather than viewing each other as competition, we can achieve more by working together and helping one another out ❤️.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Andy Robertson, who also offered to transport materials if needed, demonstrating the same spirit of cooperation.

As we move forward into the new year, we're reminded that success is not just about individual achievements, but also about the positive impact we can have on those around us. By embracing a collaborative mindset and supporting one another, we can create a more prosperous and harmonious business environment for everyone.

Wrapping up 2025 with a bang. Completed a couple bedroom carpets this morning for a lovely couple, so they can move in by the weekend. Not our usual holiday schedule, but we're all about keeping customers happy. Finishing the year on a high note, just like we started it. Wishing you all a Happy New Year! See you in 2026

Merry Christmas to all our amazing followers! I’m blown away by the incredible support you've shown me, and i can't thank you enough.

To be honest, the past couple of months have been a real challenge for myself. With a two-man workload on my shoulders since November, there have been days when getting out of bed felt like a monumental task. But, i’ve always believed in showing up with a smile and delivering top-notch work, no matter what. And, I’m thrilled to say that I’ve kept my promise to all those customers i promised I would get complete by Christmas 🎅 🌲 🎁 .

As we head into the holiday season, I’m looking forward to taking a well-deserved break, spending quality time with my loved ones, and recharging my batteries. It's the perfect opportunity to reflect on the year that's been and gear up for an even stronger year ahead. I’m excited to come back refreshed, revitalized, and ready to tackle new challenges and opportunities in the new year.

From my family to yours, we wish you a joyous Christmas, filled with love, laughter, and all your favorite things. Thanks again for being an integral part of my journey - i couldn't have done it without you! Here's to an amazing year ahead, and we look forward to sharing it with all of you.
