Wow what an amazing night! We are WINNERS!!! ❤️❤️🎉🍾 I am so thrilled to have collected the award for Best Kitchen Design Somerset 5* at the international and UK property awards in London last night.
I am so honoured to have won this award but I couldn't have done it alone. A HUGE shout out to my amazing team, Angela, Trevor Snow my fabulous make up and fit team Donna Tessa DavisMandy Lee@westcotedesign Mark Prestidge thank you from the bottom of my heart for always having my back and always making working together so enjoyable.

We are excited to announce we are hosting alongside Little Greene and Susie Bee Designs, a fabulous festive Bauble Painting Workshop here at the studio. Come along and hand paint (using Little Greene's beautiful colours) 2 beautiful ceramic baubles (no creative skills required, just enthusiasm and festive spirit!). Enjoy refreshments while you paint and leave with a handmade decoration to gift or adorn your tree. All workshoppers will also go home with a Little Greene goodie bag. We are thrilled to announce we are the recipient of a 2025 UK Property Award. We won for Best Kitchen Design and could not be happier!!! A big shout out to Mark Butterfield Furniture Ltd for their collaboration in bringing my design to life. We are honoured and proud to have won such a presitious award.

When it comes to interior design Mel has an intuitive eye for what is absolutely right and she is a delight to work with. Mel has been our interior designer in three separate homes and we have been delighted with them all. She is a treasure and takes the hassle out of the whole procedure.

On international women’s day, I want to make a shout out to all the amazing women I have the pleasure of working with. From my fabulous right hand lady, Angela to our fabulous seamstresses, agents, reps, lampshade makers, you name it we have the best women working within our team. I am incredibly proud to be a woman in business, running my own successful design company. In the past I have come across ignorant and unprofessional trades who have not respected my place as a design professional on building sites, which are mainly male dominated environments. I am proud to say that those attitudes of old are disappearing fast (thankfully!) and that is thanks to all the truly fantastic women showing up and acing their jobs, shining a light on old fashioned views and making sure we are respected for the job we do.

That’s a wrap for 2024, as we close our doors ready for Christmas we would like to say a huge thank you to our fabulous loyal suppliers and clients. Merry Christmas and we shall re-open on the 6th January!

This amazing kitchen is soon to be up on website, but for now take a look at this fabulous interior. The kitchen really had to do the amazing building design justice, and cream just would not do! So a combination of Little Greene Livid and Paint and Paper Library Squid Ink with pops of Morris Madder Red in the dresser really brought the space to life and reflected the beautiful colours in the artwork and surrounding countryside. I am totally in love myself! .and.company
