We’re incredibly proud to be supporting our engineer George and his friend Jake as they take on the Race2Raise Charity Banger Rally this September! 🚗🌍

On 13th September, they’ll leave Charlestown Harbour in Cornwall, head to Plymouth for the ferry to Santander, then make their way across Europe to Benidorm over 7 days, 7 countries and plenty of challenges along the way.

Their car has to be at least 15 years old or worth less than £1,000, and George and Jake are funding the entire trip themselves, including the car, preparation, fuel, ferry and campsites. This means every penny raised goes directly to their chosen charities.

A volunteer-run charity funding paediatric brain tumour research and supporting families affected by the disease.

🧡 MS Society
Supporting people affected by Multiple Sclerosis and funding vital research. This is also a cause particularly close to us at DB Heating, with both George and our Managing Director, Lawrence Barnes, having close family affected by MS.

George has been with DB Heating since his apprenticeship, so we’re delighted to be getting behind him and Jake and have made donations to both charities.
