As usual nothing is explained correctly. You can still burn smokeless coals which last longer and produce more heat than standard house coal which is being banned. With the smokeless fuels we provide they leave very little ash and stay in all night and we have been recommending this over house coal for some time now as it also saves you a lot of money.

You can also still burn logs but has to be kiln dried logs which are better for your appliance keeps everything cleaner and they burn hotter than seasoned logs. We have sourced only 100% FSC hardwood kiln dried logs.

Tricounty only stock the best smokeless fuels which have yet to be beaten by quality. Everyone who has tried our Oxbow products never go back to there old coals or suppliers as we are the only ones in the area with this.

Please give us a call or pop in and we can recommend what is the best fuel for you. We also provide a free delivery service if you are unable to collect. There is a minimum order for the free delivery service.

Owners of wood burners and open fires in England will be discouraged from burning house coal or wet wood.

Make sure you check your hoses before lighting your BBQ’s this summer. A simple check, turn the gas on and with soapy water brushed over the hose and fittings will immediately show if any leaks. If leaks are found turn gas off and replace hose or parts before use.
