at we all want our surroundings to feel comfortable, joyful, and a reflection of our personal style. But let’s be honest—creating that perfect space isn’t always easy. Maybe you’ve felt this way:

Not as someone who takes over your space, but as your creative partner, working alongside you to bring your vision to life. Unlike traditional interior designers who often focus on structural changes, renovations, and big-budget projects, I specialise in interior styling. This means no builders, no mess, no expensive overhauls—just smart, thoughtful design that works with what you already have, enhanced by carefully chosen colours, fabrics, furniture, and accessories. While I don’t carry out decorating, DIY, or installation work myself, I’ll provide clear, detailed recommendations that you (or the professionals you choose to hire, like decorators or carpenters) can bring to life. Yes, a neutral wall can feel a little lost if the rest of the room hasn’t been thoughtfully styled. But ‘neutral’ does not automatically equal ‘dull’.

Quite the opposite, actually!

Warm neutrals can make a room feel softer, calmer and more inviting, while giving you a brilliant canvas to build on.

Bring colour through in the interchangeable accents: artwork, cushions, lamps, rugs, furniture, flowers and all those nostalgic pieces you collect over time.

The neutral backdrop lets the pieces you love stand out and the room can evolve with you.

Neutral walls aren’t boring.

They’re a canvas.

Never underestimate a good pouffe.

An extra seat when you need one, somewhere to put your feet up, and a really easy way to bring a bit more colour, pattern or texture into a room.

I spotted so many different styles in , which just goes to show how versatile they can be. Bold and patterned, soft and neutral, traditional or a little more contemporary.

And unlike some of the bigger decisions you make for a room, a pouffe can move around your home and work with you as your style changes.

Choose one you genuinely love and it could end up being one of those pieces that follows you from room to room for years.

I love finding little pockets of space that can make everyday life feel easier.

When your book and comfy chair are already there waiting for you, sitting down to read feels like far less of an effort than having to find a calming space for it every time.

Maybe creating room for a hobby is quite literally about creating a room for it?

Or, in this case, a corner.

Long wall? Want to zone the spaces along it? Follow this easy decor tip to create interest.

When you think about design in a room or a space like a hallway, looking for opportunity us what I always advise.

If the area has multiple purposes, containing different wall furniture like wall mirrors and coat hooks, just divide it to create interest and make the spaces intentional.

If adding panelling or wallpaper or a different paint colour to part of it, place the artwork or mirror in the middle of the two wall treatments

There’s a reason this palette feels calm before you’ve even seen it in a room.

Colour harmony is a science. Research from UC Berkeley found that people tend to judge colour pairings as more harmonious when the hues are more similar to one another.

That’s exactly what I’m playing with here.

The mossy and olive greens repeat through the tiles, paint and fabrics, while the to***co browns and warm stone shades sit comfortably alongside them.

Nothing feels too sharp or disconnected, but there’s still enough contrast in the cream, texture and pattern to stop it all becoming flat.

And colour psychology is only useful if it works for the person living with it.

For this scheme, I wanted the overall feeling to be warm, grounded and restful rather than overly polished or ‘perfect’.

That’s the lovely bit about building a palette: finding colours that not only work together, but create the feeling you want the room to have.

My Complete Design & Styling Experience is my most hands-on service, designed for clients who want support from the initial ideas right through to the final styling.

I can help with sourcing, ordering, deliveries, liaising with contractors and bringing all those finishing touches together.

This 1 room needed to do 3 different jobs.

So how did I separate the spaces without making them feel… separate?

In this home, I created cohesion by repeating colours, materials and finishes across the different zones. Warm wood, earthy tones, black accents and greenery appear throughout, so your eye naturally moves from the dining area to the kitchen and across to the seating space.

Then I used furniture, lighting and rugs to create the individual zones.

1. The dining table and rug anchor the eating area.
2. The island and pendant lights clearly define the kitchen.
3. The armchairs by the window create a separate little place to sit, without needing a wall or divider between them.

Even details like the exposed brick column help.

The warmer colours elsewhere in the room connect back to those natural brick tones.

That’s how I approach open-plan styling: not as several separate rooms squeezed into one space, but as one overall design made up of different areas, each with its own job to do.

The result should feel connected wherever you’re standing, while still making it obvious where one part of the room ends and another begins.

The Chapel is READY for handing over to the managing agent for Serviced accomodation let's.

We have taken this beautiful, empty, 3 bed duplex apartment, sprinkled some Adorn magic on it and turned it into a practical but cosy and comfortable space.

With a tight budget, sourcing if the right items at the right price was critical and, it is now a coordinated country scandi inspired retreat.

With a colour palette of green blue and rusts/oranges it has been transformed, using colour blocking paint techniques.

Another client’s designs are complete, and Natasha’s home is ready for its transformation!

Natasha asked me to help completely change the look and feel of her modern two-bedroom home. She wanted it to feel softer, warmer and more feminine, with a neutral, Scandi-inspired style that still felt cosy and inviting.

This design board brings that direction in the lounge to life! I also worked with her on the kitchen-diner and main bedroom.

We’re keeping the existing sofas, so the design has been built around what Natasha already owns rather than replacing everything. From there, I’ve selected the colours, furniture, lighting, textiles and finishing touches that will help the rooms feel connected and considered.

All of the products have now been sourced and are ready to purchase, with the decorators lined up to begin the work in September.

I’m really looking forward to seeing these ideas move from the design boards into Natasha’s home, and, of course, showing you the finished rooms!
