I always look inside the boxes…you never know what you’ll find. Today was beautifully packed mandolin strings. Now I know these are very niche but I’m sure there will either be a packaging lover or mandolin player that needs this! Available on my eBay shop.

Stumbled across this gorgeous set of five hand-embroidered bird pictures while thrifting, and I’m completely smitten.
Each one tells its own little story in thread — these beautiful birds must’ve taken hours to make.

They feel like they’ve flown straight out of a cozy cottage wall from decades past.

Now the only question is… sell them together as a flock, or let them perch in different homes? What do you think?

Over the years, I’ve collected all sorts of vintage advertising jars—but never one this BIG!

This incredible piece is a Virol advertising jar, standing a whopping 30cm tall. Labeled “A Preparation of Bone-Marrow – An Ideal Fat Food for Children & Invalids”, it’s likely a rare shop display jar.

A real showstopper for any collector!

Happy New Year, just back from a lovely few days in North Wales. Lots of walking and hunting for vintage treasures. Looking forward to reopening my studio and getting lots of new stock into my Etsy shop. Let’s see what 2025 has in store!

Great morning with wandering around Stroud Yard Trail looking for treasure. 130 homes had signed up this year and we must have visited a least 50 of them!! Stroud is very hilly so my legs are aching but at least this year we had the sense to move the car to make it easier to pop back with stuff! Found some lovely items which will be in my Etsy store soon!

From a week of glorious sunshine in Skiathos to rain in the UK!! Where is our summer? After 4 loads of washing and a trip to the laundrette to dry it…I’ve had a busy day dispatching lots of parcels and photographing new stock for my Etsy shop. See my stories for my latest vintage goods.
