It’s a pretty natural human desire to know more about those around us and the people we often see pop up on social media. So, I thought I’d tell you a little bit about myself and my business Meraki Hair Collective 🙌🏻

For for those that don’t know me, my names Lydia, Ive been a hair stylist and colourist for 14 years and finally opened my own salon 1 year ago. I have three beautiful Children, Arlo, Atlas and Airlie (yes I had to stick with the A’s otherwise it would have played havoc with my OCD), and you’ll mostly see me wearing a fedora hat 😂

I’d by lying if I said juggling three kids and a salon wasn’t ridiculously tough at times, but as the saying goes, when you truly love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work.

Im lucky enough to have done a lot of travelling in my time, which also means I’m lucky to have worked with many different hair types all over the world 🌎

I now love working with all different hair types as I truly feel peoples hair is so unique to their look, style and personality, and i love being able to enhance this and make people feel super special.

So, if you’re looking for a new colour or style (maybe even both), get in touch, I’d love to work my magic on you 🪄 💇‍♀️

🌸 It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to discontinue to supply flowers with immediate effect. I didn’t expect to be so busy away from the shop which I’m really grateful for but on my own is far too much, I thought I left the 80 hours a week behind me!!
