I’ve, once again, fallen off the wagon with posting here but in an effort to begin regularly showing up here again I thought telling you about my newest product might be a good place to start! You might remember the previous iteration of these, which I printed and cut with a Cricut. This was, frankly, a nightmare and very inconsistent so I decided to have some new ones printed. The printer didn’t fancy cutting the holes for me, so those are done by me with a punch, and then I thread them up with a glorious rainbow of yarn. I hope you all love them as much as I do!

I can’t believe even for a moment that you haven’t all seen this already, but have just launched a Cotton DK in the same 120 shades as the Create DK. It’s all over my feed, and yours as well I’m sure! I have, of course, got peg sets ready for anyone who wants one too.

to that time I decided to make a blanket with every shade of Stylecraft Special DK in alphabetical order! There are 20 more shades now, maybe I should do another?!

This year, for the first time I’ve decided to set myself a word of the year. I’ve chosen GROW because I think there’s lots of ways to interpret it. Obviously I would like to grow my business, but I think I can take lots of other meanings from the word in other areas of my life, too. I’m interested to know: have you set a word for this year? What is it?

Time, I think, for a reintroduction of sorts! This is me, my husband and our daughter when we were on our way home with our Christmas tree in December (actually it was November!). I nearly chickened out of posting a picture of myself and gave you my logo instead, but had a last second moment of bravery. Both of these wonderful people help me in many and varied ways with my tiny business so it’s only fair that they feature, too.

As we begin 2025 I wanted to pop my head in here and wish everyone a Happy New Year. It was a roof tile-rattling night for us but all seems to be intact this morning. Onwards and upwards!

A finished project from me this morning. It’s only been in the works for 2.5 years … if you’ve been here a while you might remember that I made blankets for two of my nephews in lockdown, one blue and one green. This is for their little brother and has the same colour order, subbing the blues/greens for reds. Colours are Stylecraft Special DK in: Tomato, Grey, Claret, Lipstick, Mustard, Silver, Copper, Burgundy, Graphite and Gold.
