Hello All, my name is Sarah Pitcher and I have been sewing for almost 20 years. I got into quilting when I was about to graduate from high school and then dived in full force when I moved across the world to live in Okinawa, Japan with my husband. After several years in Japan, we traveled back to the states, moving two more times, and now currently are back across the ocean living in the UK. Along
the way I have enjoyed exploring different techniques and styles of quilting. I eventually landed on Foundation Paper Piecing and enjoyed the amount of detail you could get with it, unlike traditional quilting. I wanted stuff that was so unique, I couldn’t find patterns anywhere. Naturally, I found a way to design them myself. After years, people started asking to buy them, and then years later people started asking if they could get a specific pattern designed by me for them! I have enjoyed making commissioned pieces of animals, families, logos and characters. I also still create regular patterns and post them on my Etsy and website. Feel free to check them out at:
