A rather large crocheted octopus made for my daughter at her request.
Pattern is Anchor the Octopus from an Etsy trader and I made it in Paintbox super chunky yarn.
Happy to say she is very pleased with it. 😊

A crocheted tea cosy perfect for bee keepers or bee lovers.
Loved making this, the honey gold yarn is so soft and the little bees although very fiddly to make are so cute.
I am selling this for £24 including postage in UK.

Yorkshire Buttons made in Perle thread and turned into stud earrings.
Super cute. I'm sure I'll make more in other colours and maybe try to make them drops too.

Well it's been a long time since I posted on here. My Instagram feed would automatically link to this page but it seems to have stopped doing so back in February. I am very sorry for those of you that follow me here only.
I will do my best to play catch up and will post on here separately from now on.
Let's start with this gorgeous Sparkle Angel I made as a tree topper using a pattern from Sew Thimblewood. I always make something every year from Michelle's patterns.
The skirt has pelmet vilene in the lining to help her stay upright. Lovely pattern.

Finally got round to getting the sewing machine out and playing with the decorative stitches and different threads to make a woven cushion cover front panel. Lovely different effects and textures. 🪡🧵🧵
Got the sewing bug back again now 🤦🏻😁

Will be finished soon 🤞

Last Sunday I attended a watercolour workshop with Ione Harrison, a local Yorkshire artist whose painting is inspired by the Yorkshire Moors and area using a lot of resist techniques.

The workshop was a gift for Christmas from my husband as l've been going on a lot about learning watercolor painting.

These are my results from the half day and I learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Need to practice a lot more but happy with my first attempts.

We only had 5 colours, some cling film, a rigger brush, a large round brush, a toothbrush, some cotton thread and a wax candle.

Ione was a fantastic teacher and we got to see her current exhibition at the arts centre. ❤️
