We're looking for talented local performers to help us bring some extra festive magic to Clydeside at Christmas 2026! 🎅🎵

Whether you're a solo singer, part of a local choir, an acoustic musician, a busker or a talented entertainer, we'd LOVE to hear from you! ❤️

We're bringing together Scotland's Biggest Indoor Christmas Markets at Lanark Agricultural Centre, and we're looking for performers to help create a fantastic festive atmosphere across our three magical evenings!

So, this has been my week so far in pictures. Following several extreme nosebleeds, and one that wouldn't stop at all, I've had a couple of days at Dumfries Infirmary. I'm home now, with strict instructions to do no household chores and not to use the hoover, so that's a result at least!
This does mean that I won't be opening the studio at all for at least the next week. I'll update further when I see how I'm feeling.
In the meantime, with those scary pictures ... happy halloween and bonfire night!

Do you enjoy the darker evenings - or struggle with them? I find that focusing on a countdown to 21st December helps... I know that after that shortest day of the year, it's going to gradually get better!

With the halloween events at Drumlanrig Castle & Country Estate cancelled this weekend, and the decision taken to close the grounds , I have decided to also close the studio.
I did go in this morning to make sure I had enough supplies to work from home so rest assured there'll still be plenty going on!

In the meantime, here's a couple of this year's christmas baubles all ready for hanging, both have double sided designs and plenty of festive foliage!

Keyrings have been restocked with some new designs. Another great stocking filler - at just £3 each, or ideal for fillable advent calendars (which I also sell 😉).

Just over two months to go! Are you an early shopper or a last minute one? I'm a kind of steady one - I buy stuff all through the year as it catches my eye. The drawback being that by December I've forgetten about it or don't remember where I've put it!
