This one is all about the sizes and colours of one of my favourite styles from Harley this season the boxy tweed jumpers (or sweaters, or pullovers..). As a tall girl my appreciation for a proper sleeve length will never end..😁

Just in case you’re are heading to a Scottish castle and need some knitwear to avoid looking out of place (or, heaven forbid, suspicious. You do not want to raise any suspicions in the castle, do you 😅 ) the new styles from will help you to blend in in a nice way. They do know a thing or two about making proper knitwear fit for a castle 😉🧶🏰

For the last two mornings, I’ve been wrestling with the age-old dilemma:
Jumper or no jumper? 🤔
Yesterday was, shall we say, rather fresh in the morning, so the jumper went on.
This morning? Jumper off.
So… what’s one to do?
You can, of course, knit one. 🧶
Or you could get yourself one of the Harley of Scotland Gansay-style jumpers, made in a lovely lightweight tweed.
Because sometimes life is too short to spend the morning arguing with yourself about whether you’re cold or not 😂

A little shop-hours update… 💕

Due to my 'parallel' student life, I need to make a small adjustment to the shop opening days.

I’ll still be in the shop 3 days a week, but from now on those days will be:

Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays.

This will be the minimum opening schedule up until Christmas, with some extra days added here and there when I can.

Mailorders will continue to go out as usual.

I’m sorry for any inconvenience, and thank you, as always, for your patience and understanding. 💕🧶

And yes… apparently I can’t run a shop and be a 'mature' (hate that word!!!) student without making life slightly complicated! 😂

In the shop I’ve always said to everybody who would listen: “I don’t do beige, brown and I do not knit small animals.” Well… I may have to change my stance on this. 😅

I am now considering chocolate brown as a lovely colour 🤎(who even am I?!), and the new book Chez Myrtil by Cinthia Vallet is so very, VERY tempting me to knit a small toy animal🫣 My only excuse for not starting is that I simply cannot decide which one....

Just LOOK AT THEM! 😍😍😍🦊🐶🐸 They’re all so ridiculously cute.... and look at those miniature jumpers!

P.s. those mini jumpers would be super Christmas 🎄 Dec's by themselves 😉

Look, I could go into a long and winding essay about how the changing weather calls for a warmer layer, try to make you feel the need for some new woolly knitwear. But I guess you already know that as a shop with a great range of knitwear to sell, my underlying interest is for you to go and buy one or two of the lovely knits freshly arrived for the new season. 🍂
