So, today’s return-to-purchase situation was as follows. I spotted these green glasses the other day and passed but they made me look at them today, properly. Turns out they’re European-made in the seventies for an American company known as Tiara Indiana.

They’re green - which will be enough for many people; a good weight, embossed with grapes and vine leaves and not a chip or crack in sight. That’s why I originally passed - I thought they were “new” rather than from fifty years ago. Fifty years ago! That’s nuts!

Anyhoo - £30 is an excellently good price for seven, which is a useful number of matching glasses to have I reckon, especially coming up to you know what. And how Christmassy and gorgeous would these be on your December dinner tables! Very - is the answer to that query.

Remember I told you I picked up something special on Monday - of course you don’t! Well here it is, finally out of the car. I wasn’t sure where on earth I could display it or use it but it fits in well here. Now of course I love it and have moved the entire living space to accommodate it. The fact that I could also fill it with all my smaller vintage finds is starting to appeal as well 🙄😳🤣.

The point of me buying beautiful things is to sell them on but because I only pick you beautiful things it’s going to be hard to let go sometimes.

SO - is this the blanket box you’ve always wanted? Is this ornately carved Chinese camphor box just right for book or toy storage in your living room. I mean it sure beats hell out of a plastic container.

It is likely to have been made between 1900-1940 so it’s not an ancient Qing Dynasty antique but having said that, it looks brilliant and adds that instant character and texture that elevates interiors giving instant style. No question. I love it.

I will sell 😞😞😞 to a good home and am open to offers of at least £300 having looked at the range of prices on Etsy etc which go up to over £1,000 for similar. This would be a purchase for life. You’re very welcome to come and have a look before any commitment. I have a couple of people picking up items tomorrow between 11-12 so feel free to pop in. Just message for address.

I’ve just popped this unused Mulberry laptop messenger bag onto Vinted - waiting for them to verify - good that they do.

Classic Mulberry vintage grosgrain which was bought in the Mulberry shop in Shepton Mallet - when it was good. I’ve never used it and was thinking it’s a really nice bag for a bloke? My husband will read this and ask if he can have it.

Anyway it’s on Vinted for £160. I would be v happy with £100 from a FB follower - come and try it before you make your mind up if appropriate.

Some amazing items for you.

One hasn’t been taken out of the car yet and it is SPECIAL…posts later.

And these are also super special mid-century Schrieber classics. I have four of the faux leatherette chairs and one extendable table which I haven’t photographed yet but the info is in one of the images here. All in really good structural and aesthetic order with one or two tiny marks here and there.

These generally sell for at least £1000 for four chairs and in vintage stores you’d be hard pushed to find them for less than £1200 and approx £2000 to include a matching EXTENDABLE table. My offer is £300 for the chairs and £150 for the table or £400 for the set. You could keep or risk it for a biscuit and sell on.

They are so blinking stylish and seriously iconic. Mr Schreiber was a Polish Jewish Holocaust survivor and wanted to make things in the UK with a nod to Scandinavian designs and G-plan but cheaper. They were really successful and have “stood the test of time”.

They will have to go on the dreaded Marketplace later but as usual you folks have first dibs.
