Top tip Thursday, wow this is exciting. I will every Thursday throw in a top tip that I have learnt for you all to see! Does size matter ?? I’m talking hook sizes. Yes size matters. It depends on yarn, hook size, overall finish of item and personal choice. on the yarn band it will suggest what size hook or knitting needles to use. I always go smaller as I prefer a tighter finish. I love a chunky yarn, it works up quicker as a bigger hook is used, I find it easier to teach people to crochet, some of my little crocheters preferred a double knit yarn. Personal choice. Grab your yarn, read the band and decide what size hook to use, there is no right or wrong size hook. Most of all ENJOY
