VisitScotland. Autumn is my favourite time on the Isle of Mull and these are my top spots. Mull doesn’t close for the season - it comes into its own with some of these hidden gems:

Big news. We’re back filming series 2 of Banjo & Ro’s Grand Island Hotel. It’s already been a wild ride, can’t wait for you to see. Oh and we’re coming to BBCTwo.

Things have been a little quiet at The Grand Island Hotel while I’ve been in Zambia working on the river lodge project - an even more wild, inconvenient build (I’ve found my niche). This place is at the end of the world - a nature reserve, no antique shops and some pretty wild neighbours

Scotland’s Home of the Year is back for a new series tomorrow night. While Ro was back at The Grand Island Hotel last year working I was on the rd, snooping through peoples homes to steal their ideas (and biscuits). It’s on 8.30pm tomorrow (Monday) on BBCOne Scotland and on BBC iPlayer for everyone else.

In love with our tiles. They are from Mandarin Stone. My design apprentice Ro made a great choice - it had to go with the copper, feel grand but grounded.
