I had the pleasure of visiting Grassington today and O..My...Days its absolutely stunning, old quaint houses, cobble streets, tiny tearooms, vintage gifts, quirky shops, art galleries, pottery, flowers.. so beautiful 😍 everything i love in one beautiful place..
We walked past a shop called the rustic rabbit and I said to Andy can you imagine if that was my shop, i literally went into visualising everything in there dried flowers hanging from the ceiling my heart melted into an emotional wave of id love that... one day!!!!

It’s all about the packaging…
One thing I’ve learnt is that handmade is never just the finished product.
It’s the whole process.
From choosing the wax, making each sachet, letting them set, trimming, labelling, boxing, adding the care card, wrapping, tidying the tiny bits of paper that somehow get everywhere… it all takes time.
But that’s the beauty of small batch making.
Every little detail is thought about. Every box is packed by hand. Every order is made to feel like something special before it’s even opened.
Because for me, the packaging is part of the experience too.
Soft, simple, thoughtful — and made with care from start to finish.

Taking the Next Step 🌿

Sometimes the hardest part isn't creating the product, it's taking the leap and letting people see it.
The first time I set up my Folksy shop, I got all the way to the finish line... and then fear crept in. What if nobody buys anything? What if people don't like it? What if I've got it all wrong?
So I never pressed publish.
But last night I decided to show fear the door and do it anyway.
Because courage isn't about not being scared. It's about taking the next step even when you are.
So, with a wobbly hand and a racing heart, my Folksy shop is finally live. ✨
It's a small step for some, but a huge one for me.
Here's to trusting ourselves, starting before we're ready, and seeing where the path leads.

Why does creating our candles take so long?
Because every candle begins long before the wax is ever poured.
First, the roses are carefully dried, a process that can take 3–4 weeks. Nature doesn't like to be rushed, and neither do we. The flowers need time to preserve their beauty, colour and delicate detail.
Once the roses are ready, each candle is hand-poured in small batches and finished with its floral touches. Then comes another important step — curing. This allows the wax and fragrance to settle properly, helping the candle burn beautifully and perform at its best.
From flower to finished candle, it's a slow and thoughtful process, but that's exactly how we like it.
