Really rate Chris's art work and often have his beautiful cards in the shop 🙂

My rough idea for an 'Oranges and Lemons' nursery rhyme illustration. The crows are munching on pieces of the fruits, apparently some crows will eat citrus fruit! The crows, mist and bare trees are all referring to the dark final line in the poem "here comes a chopper to chop off your head". St Clements in the background is not the church most likely associated with the original rhyme, instead I picked St Clements on the Strand because its bells play the tune. PLUS the church has strong ties with the RAF, so birds = aeroplanes. So much to unpack. Congratulations if you've read this far! :)
