Awesome printed fabric on a patio window, with sill length curtains and scatter cushions to match, really brings a wow factor to the room!

Don’t be put off by larger patterns, they often make a better choice than a smaller “busier” pattern, and fabric takes on a different look depending on the item and how the material hangs

I’m proud to share some pictures of my work for a private members club in London, Wave Pelmets with Tails in soft velvet to compliment the gorgeous green tones of their newly refurbished room.

I was delighted to be asked to create these pieces and it was lovely to spend the day working in such beautiful surroundings.

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been asked to be part of the team to work on the next room due for attention!

In case anyone is interested, this article is in Automotive Magazine this month, I was interviewed as part of a project following people who have worked in the automotive industry and then changed their path.

They took a bit of editorial licence but the main parts are all right, I was a buyer for parts for the production line, not a designer though lol

Hello lovely people, I just thought I’d share with you what I do in the evenings when I’m flopped on the sofa, I created this pattern myself after being inspired by a photo and some very basic instructions about the type of stitch I found on the internet in polish 😂

This took me several weeks to make, but I’m so in love with the finished article and the way the yarn blends from grey to white!

Scrubs Up for Northants NHS have been asked to make 3000 sets of scrubs for one of the hospitals in our county

We are a group of volunteers who have been asked directly by the hospital to help them.

If you have any unused sheeting, duvet covers or good quality plain cotton fabric please contact me and I will give you details of where to drop it off.

We will need 12 Kilometres of fabric for this one request alone in addition to the hundred of sets of scrubs our GP practices need for staff in the hot zones who may be coming into contact with potential Coronavirus cases.

I'm trying to arrange drop off points around our town, but if you are willing to have a box outside your front door for people to put their donations please let me know, you wont need to do anything else, just keep an eye on the box

As many of you may know I’m part of an initiative to make scrubs for our local Hospitals and GP practices

In our local area 6 practices have already asked for scrubs to be made for staff serving the RED side of the practice, which you may know is for those needing to see a doctor and are suspected COVID19 patients.

We are waiting to hear exactly how may set of scrubs are needed, but now need to buy fabric to make them

I’ve contacted a supplier in the curtain industry who is happy to sell fabric to us cheaply but i still cant afford to finance this myself.

Is there anyone who would be able to sponsor £78 for a roll of fabric please this would be enough to make 7 full sets of scrubs.

Please share this as much as you can as I have lots of people standing locally by ready to make and want to help our lovely GP practices as soon as we can

Latest fitting of bench seat cushions using fabrics ... solutions dyed acrylics that have inherent stain and sun-fade resistance.

There is wide range of weaves and textures ...perfect for high use areas and also suitable for garden furniture or boat/caravan cushions.

This isn’t my work but I just had to share this as an idea for using plain fabrics combined with some slightly more bold braids ... this creates a completely bespoke look and colours can be combined to suit any palette

I often get asked what’s possible with alterations ... here’s an example of converting pencil pleat curtains to pinch pleat.

There are usually plenty of options for conversions, please get in touch if your curtains need a new lease of life

So today I helped with the finishing touches to these wonderful rooms. Roman blind made by me and curtains (made by others) rehung and dressed as wave instead of pencil pleat.
