GEC Anderson were commissioned by to manufacture two made to measure brushed satin stainless steel worktops for a residential redevelopment in Edinburgh.

Contrasting nicely with the neutral wooden cabinetry, the brushed satin stainless steel worktops include GEC Anderson’s minimal edge 7 (20mm), with one worktop including integral upstand edge 10 at the back (165mm). A splashback with socket cut-outs and provision for utensil rail was also included.

Integrated sinks A23 and A45 were combined to provide generous sink capacity, maximised with their 10mm corner radius. A sloped inline drainer provides a sleek and practical wet zone to one side of the sinks. A hob cutout and also a corner cut-out were also required.

GEC Anderson was commissioned to manufacture and install a made to measure stainless steel island worktop: edge 7 (50mm plain edge) with an integral sink (A40) and intricate cutouts for a range cooker and a large wooden worktop. Working directly for the nursery, GEC Anderson were commissioned to measure, manufacture and install a number of made to measure stainless steel worktops for the main kitchen and serving area; art area; store room, utility room; staff room as well as the general play area. Additionally, a number of splashbacks and panels were supplied in the washrooms and outdoor play areas.

Worktops feature GEC Anderson’s edge 7 (40mm) and were all made to the specific sizes required, including a curved and angled servery area to the main kitchen. Coloured wall tiles were installed prior to the worktops, so the fit needed to be very precise. Cutouts for appliances were provided where required.

Lift lobbies in a central London office building were part of a total office refurbishment project on multiple levels. GEC Anderson’s stainless steel cladding contrasts effectively with the neutral wooden boarding to the opposing walls.

A New Day Design Studio in conjunction with HØLTE, updated this Barbican kitchen using GEC Anderson worktops and splashbacks creating a stylish yet authentic look to the Grade II listed architecture.

GEC Anderson were instructed to measure, supply and install made to measure brushed satin stainless steel worktops for the complete kitchen refurbishment.

Included in the design were a total of four worktops. One worktop featured an integrated end panel. The main sinktop included individual hob plate cut outs: integral sink with drainer and splashback. A further two worktops were also included.

The stainless steel sinktop has double integrated sinks and side and back upstands. GEC Anderson brushed satin stainless steel was used throughout.
