Levelling up this piece with some 24 carat gold leaf. Would’ve been better to use loose leaf but when all you have is transfer you’ve gotta just roll with it and just ensure you can still get into all the nooks and crannies! End shows the comparison between my tinted size (glue) and the 24carat gold leaf. I tend to leave the coastline bare so collectors can choose a gold finish that suits their interior however, I realised that I don’t have any dark blue gilded pieces currently available so had to create a couple😊. The artwork will be available on my website in the next hour. Gorgeous textured coastal seascape with a touch of regal elegance.

A fabulous day for James and I watching Matthew play for Saracens U16s at Warwick University. I’ve always loved watching our boys play and it’s so good to see that they both still enjoy playing the game, if anything, their passion and love of the game has become even stronger. When I’m not in the studio I’m either cooking or watching our boys play sport, will let you guess which gives me more joy 🙃so apologies, you will get the occasional rugby post here too 😊

I’ve not had the time to put together photos to summarise this years creations and sales so here’s a photo of me about to tuck into some bubbles on Christmas afternoon, with a cheeky boy in the background grabbing a beer for dad 😊 Just a quick note to say a massive THANK YOU for your continued support this year. A very quick count saw over 50 original pieces of art find new homes this year! This excludes the numerous sample pieces that also found new homes and all the homewares that have been purchased and gifted especially over this festive period. Thank you! 🙏🏻 I will be starting 2026 with an empty calendar (apart from a couple of commissions being carried forward) which feels great as this gives me the freedom to create the things I have been itching to create but have been ‘distracted’ from with some of the events I have taken part in. New artworks are now available on my websites and studio visits are welcome, just send me a DM! I am looking forward to 2026 and wish you and your loved ones a year filled with love, laughter, happiness and most of all good health! Happy 2026! ❤️
