Looking forward to presenting at this online webinar lunchtime today : Nature by Design: Integrating Biophilia into Healing Spaces
Healthcare environments play a critical role in influencing recovery, stress, cognition, and staff wellbeing. As pressure on healthcare systems continues to grow, there is increasing interest in how biophilic design — through light, materiality, nature, imagery, planting, and spatial composition — can support healthier and more restorative clinical environments.

This webinar will bring together experts in healthcare design, biophilia, and workplace wellbeing to explore the emerging evidence base behind nature-informed healthcare spaces. Discussions will examine how biophilic principles can support patient recovery, staff resilience, and operational outcomes, while also addressing the practical and clinical challenges of implementation within complex healthcare settings.

Attendees will gain insight into:
The evidence linking biophilic design to healing and wellbeing
Practical interventions that can be implemented in healthcare spaces
How design influences cognition, stress reduction, and staff performance
The realities of embedding nature safely within clinical environments.
With Daniel Girdlestone , Anne Dowling and Adrian Byne, for Healthy Spaces.
