The therapeutic benefits of making something, getting lost in the process of creating or crafting pretty or meaningful items has had to take a back-seat for the last 5 years whilst I was running our tea shop. As our tea shop is now closing down, a space has been created for my creative imagination to run riot once again. I have set up this new business, which takes me right back to the beginning of my business journey. I intend on doing some craft fairs, renting some shelf space (what a complete u-turn) and just enjoying making, crafting and the mindfulness and peace it gives me. Getting lost in a project is the best type of therapy. I’ve missed it. Whilst I loved running my tea shop, it was very full-on and intense, often with worrying times, staff issues etc. This new business will be just me, and my imagination. My darling hubby will also be helping me because we are forever brain-storming, sharing ideas, going on adventures always together. I can’t wait!
