Newly formed master bedroom ensuite. The client wanted a luxury timeless durable ensuite bathroom to include a double basin, large bath, shower, sauna and lots of storage. We managed to acheive all this within a reasonable budget, using only 10m2 carved from an over sized landing space and underused cupboard.

When the budget is squeezed some things just need a rethink.

In this instance it was floor to ceiling bespoke joinery in the new extension. We can revisit this at another time when costs allow, but for now, beautiful bespoke joinery gave way to built-in IKEA Kallax units for my husband’s vinyl collection.

Topped off with the offcut quartz from our kitchen worktop we're pretty pleased!

With ever increasing materials and labour costs for home renovations there are still a few ways to compromise and save money.

From minimising internal structural work to sourcing second hand or reclaimed goods and opting for off the shelf rather than bespoke it'll all help to stay within budget or help pay for the items you REALLY want.

For us it was this solid oak herringbone parquet flooring ❤
