Today I went to check out to help decide if I’d like to join the market. I think that’s a resounding YES! Though if is there with me I think I might spend any profits I make! I couldn’t resist this beautiful origami washi paper illuminated balloon, and then went back again for plant stakes, cards and a string of cranes - oops! Audrey II the baby begonia (gift from ) is proudly sporting her l’il crane ornament 😍

Damn, that failed hard! I really wanted to leave the porcelain unglazed but it just doesn’t look great with the lustre 😭

Just in case you’re looking for something to do this weekend, you can come and buy some handmade ceramics from me (and lots of other talented potters) on the West Bristol Arts Trail.

This year I’m back in my favourite venue at QEH, with lots of other artists that I’m pleased to call friends. Come and see us so that we don’t spend all day chatting to each other!!

We've finally perfected the Raktajino mugs! Read the blog post - there's even a little process video☺️

It's been a long road to handmade Raktajino mug perfection. Long to the point where we were tempted to start drinking synthale and synthahol. Where's Quark's Bar when you need it? Klingon coffee will have to do, sourced from the Replimat of course. Or perhaps a Tarkalean Tea?

My margins are too tight to squeeze even further for the sake of a made up event…. How about you? Are you going to offer a sale?

I’m also not doing it on my nerdy gifts brand .shop

Since most of my sales are through Etsy, with the fees they take I just can’t afford to run a sale. However if you’d like to buy full price things, the links are in my bio 😁

It’s that time again! The West Bristol Arts Trail is happening tomorrow, and this time I’m in Victoria Methodist Church. Come and see me! Link in bio

New items coming to my shop! How cute are these fish bowl porcelain tumblers? 😍

The fish are made from my own silkscreened underglaze transfers (let me know if you’d like a little video of how I made them), with a some coloured celadon glaze accents.

I’ve recently been invited to join and I’ve been going through the pieces of setting up my profile, adding products and photos etc. I’ve come to the conclusion while getting photos of my workspace, that I am not a tidy potter by nature, so I’ve decided to embrace it and just show my studio, warts and all!

This is my main work bench, it’s multi-purpose as the plaster bat is removable, and it’s very heavy and sturdy due to the large amounts of clay stored in the shelf underneath!
