My first resin table and a labour of love. This is an oak in epoxy resin coffee table. This isn’t a river table, rather, pieces of live edge oak are encased in the resin of the tabletop. The resin is tinted with a dark smoke effect and is enhanced with metallic bronze swirl inclusion. The table sits on 3 individually crafted legs formed using exposed oak and epoxy resin. UV protected epoxy has been hand-polished to a high-gloss smooth surface.

The table measures approximately 46in (117cm) long x 20in (51cm) wide x 19in (48cm) high. The tabletop is 2.5in (6.5cm) thick. The materials alone cost hundreds of pounds. If I sell through a gallery they will require circa 50% commission so looking to sell privately in the first instance. Well it’s a little while since I’ve posted here!
I’ve been exploring a new direction for me, developing unique artisan pieces of furniture with resin or other materials used to enhance and showcase the natural beauty of wood. Thus far I have largely created pieces for our own home, for friends and for individual commissions. I’ll be sharing some of my latest projects this week! Watch this space 🪵

Join us at our much loved magical Xmas Fayre on 23rd & 24th November 11~3 in our gorgeous Barn/Yr Ysgubor.

We’ll have lots of craft stalls, on the Saturday the Rock Choir, Mulled Wine, Mince Pies & lots of Caffi Nini treats & festive crepes.

Bring all the family, let the children play in the festive playground, dogs more than welcome.
