NEW IN - Nebulae

Nebulae is a new series of porcelain tiles with squares for the floor or wall ideal for creating a chequerboard look, with each of the six shades having a textured surface design partly created by the pretty speckled pattern. There are also complementary if standalone brick-shaped wall tiles in five similar shades, with a matt finish and abstract terrazzo design. The images here showcase the pretty Moon and Jupiter colourways in the brick and square formats, including chequerboard and striped designs. Samples are available free from our website to help you choose one or two for your own refurbishment scheme.

The guys at ADAM BRADSTOCK helped transform this existing garden building into a beautiful space to use all year-round, utilising our porcelain Allaperto tiles in the Stone Ivory and Stone and Ash finishes. In the 60x60 size, they were laid in a distinctive harlequin effect chequerboard pattern. The green retaining walls are our fabulous bungalow 22 tiles in Lawn Green in both square and brick shapes. Free samples of the tiles are available from our website to help you choose your favourite, while over on the journal pages have a further read all about chequerboard, and how best to use it.

NEW IN - Biblioteca

We’ve just launched the exclusive Biblioteca glazed brick collection in twelve stunning shades. Each comes in a Plain for floor or wall, and a Speckled for wall only. The wall here showcases the Frost, Fig and Claret, with real Calacatta Viola 30x30 marble on the floor for contrast. Our Smithfield cloakroom basin with Smithfield brass tap would be an eye-catching addition to bathrooms or cloakrooms, while two new paint colours, Mushroom Pie on walls and Guinea Pig on the basin, complete the look. Samples of all our tiles and vegan-friendly paints are available online, for you to pick the best for your own refurbishment project.

This lovely terracotta-like tile is from the Shenstone Yard Collection, a series inspired by the courtyard of a Staffordshire coaching inn. The four distinct shades, each named after old local villages, offers a reclaimed look with the practicality of porcelain for wall or floor. Pictured is the Little Hay colourway, a blend of warm clay and soft honey tones. The wall is Isabel’s Bloom, a fabulous soft pink from the 100-strong Claybrook Colour palette of vegan-friendly paint shades. Free samples of the tiles and paint are available from our website to help you choose a favourite.

NEW IN - Biblioteca

Our exclusive new Biblioteca range has 12 stunning shades including the Olive pictured here in the Speckled option on the walls, and Cream with Olive in a checkerboard style on the floor in the Plain. We’ve designed 12 colourways in total with each having the two choices; with the Plain for wall or floor, and the slightly textural Speckled for wall only. Panelling in this pantry was painted in Baby Olive, and the shelves in Tuscan Trip; both shades from the 100-strong palette of the vegan-friendly Claybrook Colour paint collection. Samples of the paints are also free to order online.

New on the Journal🌟: Our favourite Italian designs for a classic yet modern tile

There is an unmistakable romance to Italian interiors, where even the most practical surfaces are treated as an opportunity for beauty. That spirit feels wonderfully relevant with our latest ranges: the irregularity of real handmade tiles in porcelain that captures the movement of marble or the distinctive fragments of terrazzo. Check out our new journal online.

Terracotta tiles need not be utilised for traditional or classic interiors alone. For creating looks for floors or walls with functionality but also a distinctively handmade appearance, the warmth and tactile nature of the clay tiles are ideal in more modern schemes too. Tiles can be laid vertically in linear rows, or in offset and brick bond styles or even herringbone. Mosaics are also an effective way to add visual interest for bathrooms, kitchen splashbacks or in commercial settings like bars, restaurants or hotels. Free samples of a number of hand-crafted and reclaimed terracotta ranges are available from our website.

Client Focus: Jessica Knight knightdesign

This gorgeous Victorian renovation was undertaken by Jessica Knight with the kitchen utilising our beautiful Bungalow 22 tiles. The laying in the diamond, or Harlequin pattern, is a particularly striking feature of this space which blends warm tones in the furniture with painted panelled cabinetry. Practical as well as pretty, the wall tiles come in a series of shades and shapes with free samples available from our website to help you choose your favourite. The house is even a finalist in the SBID international design awards 2026, a testament to the work that has gone into the designs.

Client Focus: Rach

Rach is a pastel perfection with pops of stronger tones throughout, thanks to owner Rach and her carefully curated approach to layering colour and materials from wallpaper and paints, to panelling and upholstery. This bathroom was clad in our Discotheque tiles in the Fizz colourway, creating the effect of wallpaper in a dynamic and durable choice. Up to four free samples of this and other decorative tiles are available from our website to help you narrow down the best for your refurbishment.

Has decorating ever been so much fun or had so many possibilities? Our new geometric patterned porcelain series Twelve is so named as it has twelve possible layouts, in six glorious choices of colour combination, the burgundy blush pictured here. They are paired with the fabulous Precinct 14 in the Cagney colourway. These glazed wall tiles are in seven colours that span the decorating feel of the 70’ and 80’s but perfect for today, and have an attractively aged quality with variation in tone.
The wall is Caffeine Boost from the vegan-friendly Claybrook Colour paint palette of 100 shades. The shelf is painted in the Iron Oxide tone. The basin is the Ovo from our well-priced bathroom collections, on a shelf made from Isola Bella porcelain for wall or floor in the Flora option. Free paint and tile samples are available from our website to help you choose your favourite.
