I returned this footstool to its home last week, which was re-upholstered in Linwood Fabric Chevron in forest.

I returned this chair to it’s home yesterday. As you can see from the last picture it was being held together with duct tape in places!! It’s looking much better now in this Romo, Fabrics & Wallcoverings Piccadilly fabric!

I made this footstool recently using Linwood Fabric Helter Skelter in Nile. I have made it using entirely natural fibres for the stuffings and fabric. No nasty FR a chemicals, no foam, so much healthier for your home and the planet. Follow Emily Ward for more natural upholstery!

I had a great couple of days teaching students how to make traditional gathered lampshades Cotswold Sewing School Students went home with some beautiful shades and new skills!

It’s sometimes weird what you find inside furniture!! I stripped this sofa yesterday (Monday) so clearly on the wrong day! Has lead me to wondering why this wood was stamped with Tuesday, was it a manufacturing thing (on Mondays we do the seats, Tuesdays the arms, Wednesdays the back etc) or has the wood come from somewhere with it already on there?! Anyway, I’m going to continue pondering whilst I start the upholstery (on a Tuesday).

I returned a pair of button back chairs to their home. They look beautiful and fresh in their new Linwood Fabric - the client chose buttons in pond, which is currently one of my favourite fabrics, and it works really well with buttoned furniture. Just finished off a lampshade for a client. This is has been traditionally hand bound to the frame and stitched to the binding.

I delivered a pair of these overstuffed cushions yesterday. I decided not to pattern match the piping in order to accentuate the plumpness.

I’m very excited about this one. I’m passionate about the environment, so creating beautiful items which are as environmentally friendly as possible is really important to me. So I have created this circular pouffe, using only natural fibres, so no nasties. AND IT ALSO STORAGE!!!!
