🔨 Restoration Project Well Under Way! 🔨

We’re delighted to be working on the restoration of these beautiful Victorian cast iron railings, bringing them back to their former glory! ✨

These stunning railings are a real piece of history. Made from individual cast iron sections, bolted and soldered together long before modern welding techniques existed, they showcase the incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail of a bygone era.

Over the years, some areas have become damaged or parts have been lost. So far, they have been washed, we’ve removed the old paint, shot- blasted the railings and started repairing the broken sections. The next stage will involve taking moulds and casting replacement parts to ensure the original design and character are preserved as closely as possible.

It’s exciting to see this project taking shape and watch the beauty and intricate detail of these historic railings slowly come back to life! 🖤

We’ll keep you updated as the restoration progresses, so stay tuned to see the transformation! 👀🔧
