Sorry I've been a bit quiet on here - juggling work and my kids being off for Summer is always a challenge! I did also have two wedding cakes this week, but I can't post either - one because I literally forgot to take photos of it as I was setting up before rushing home on one of my few child free days to finish, and the other was then set up but then not used due to the poor bride having an accident and the wedding having to be postponed 😢

Anyway, aside from the craziness that has been this week, I had this cute little birthday cake and matching number for my regular client Stephanie - I've made her son's cakes on a couple of occasions and she decided this time it was her turn with something unashamedly girly to help her celebrate her birthday!

This beauty was set up at the stunning Clearwell Castle earlier this week for Haley and Jan's special day - rustic with beautiful pastel creams and blues for their flowers, this just screamed summer!

I'm a bit behind on posting cakes I've made recently, so realised I hadn't shared this one from back in early June.

If you are a parent or teacher of girls aged between 5 and 12 I don't think I need to introduce this - I mean you can practically hear it right?!

If you have no idea what this is, count yourself extremely lucky that you've never been forced to listen to "Golden" on repeat for an entire summer!

A massive shout out to for the awesome cake charms that meant I could pull this one off!

With the World Cup in full swing and England playing tonight I thought it was about time I shared this cute little football cake I made a few weeks back for Henry's 7th Birthday!

The football on top was handmade out of a giant Rice Crispy Treat with fondant on the outside - it wasn't the most fun trying to fit all the hexagons and pentagons together but I managed it!

I hope you had a lovely birthday Henry and loved your cake.

Part 2 of my diva daughter's birthday, and she asked for a brand new Sanrio theme for her sleepover party (due to my new business )

She wanted matching cupcakes to suit the theme, so these were made to match the theme of each tent, and I love how cute they ended up being!

This is the first of three birthday cakes for my most demanding client - a Swiftie extravaganza for her *actual* birthday cake (I have been given separate, extremely specific instructions for the cakes for her two (yes, two) sleepover parties.

I guess the fact that she has become my unofficial apprentice and helps me out at wedding fairs means that she feels she's entitled to a staff discount, but I don't remember negotiating it down to 100 %! 😂

Anyway, wishing a very Happy Birthday to my amazing daughter - I hope that you loved your cake and had an epic day ###

I went biscuit themed for the cakes I made for my daughters' school fete yesterday - suffice to say they were popular!

I took it as a social experiment to see which were people's favourite biscuit - which one do you reckon went first? And was it the same one you would have chosen?
