When I first heard this riff to their song Anhedonia I was literally blown away. It has to be my fav riff this year and last year that I’ve heard so far. It’s incredible. Wait until you hear further into the song when they add layers to it!! It’s insane

An absolute gem of a band to discover. Top quality musicianship and so much depth. Joa is a total gent and shared so much value and we had some laughs along the way. He’s a very deep talented human

Ok ok I did try to like MCR I really did but I’m just not that into them. I do like the new wave of emo bands inspired by them though!! I’ll recommend them to you too

So excited to be sharing this band with you guys!! Sara are literally legends from the 90s playing for 30 years give or take. I’ve literally only found them recently when reached out to me.

I decided to listen and despite the fact lyrics are in Finnish I still felt a strong emotional connection to the songs and well you guys know I love a good riff and this band definitely delivers!

They blend Melodic melodies with heavy riffs so well adding layers and textures that send my little dopamine chasing brain wild!

It’s not hard to find out what songs are about these days so even if you don’t understand the lyrics you can still learn what the song is about.

The band have just released new song Harjaila meaning vagrant and I caught up with Joa to chat about the music, the old days of partying and so much more.

What an era to have been a part of!
The 00s was the best time. Don’t get me wrong I did have some dark times too but the music was my always constant company and comfort

There is a new wave of alt music sweeping in right now and it’s very very exciting. It takes me back to my glory days and it’s so exciting to witness another new wave of music

Fans are back to how it should be. Loving real human bands. Valuing the physical music with CDs in particular in super high demand again. Hail you the fans!

Live shows are actually coming back too but the smaller venues seem to be what the fans want! This is an exciting time and a turning point for real music!

There is so much talent out there now. Please give new bands a chance. The quality and level of talent is insane. There’s something for everyone’s taste too

Stick with me guys. I know the 00s very well having lived through it and made the absolute most of it 🤭🥃 and now I can spot a band from a mile away that has that level of quality and talent!

I do try to interview as many as I can. The weekly radio show is limited to slots but I’m going to do more for my socials too to try to give more bands a showcase moment.

I also get them into Amped Magazine UK one of the UKs biggest alt magazines. And of course my show on one of the UKs most popular alt radio stations MMH - The Home Of Rock Radio

Not to mention I will shout about them for a long time to come

We need new music to keep coming.

Oh and let’s not forget some recent legendary comebacks!! Some great bands who were big back in the day have so much demand now from new fans as well as old who are literally having to comeback from demand alone and I’m so here for that too.

I’ll bring you new music as well as remind you of some of the gems you may have forgotten about

I’ve many fun stories from my days back in the 00s some I can share some I’m best not sharing as we were wildlings back then and I don’t think you guys could handle it!!
