After months of being held hostage by heatwaves, MS symptoms, and a brain that decided to yeet the entire sculpting process out of its memory banks, I’ve finally crawled back into the land of creativity. The weather has cooled, my senses have stopped screaming, and I’ve regained just enough brain power to remember which end of the clay goes where.
And out of that chaos emerges this new WIP dragon—glossy, wide‑eyed, and looking like it’s been patiently waiting for me to stop melting and start functioning again. Honestly, he’s probably been judging me from the craft table like, “Are we sculpting today or are you going to stare at the wall again?”
MS brain tried to sabotage the comeback, but I’m stubborn, and this little creature is proof. Slow progress, wobbly focus, but I’m sculpting again… and that feels huge.
So here he is: the post‑heatwave, post‑MS‑flare, brain‑reboot dragon — born from perseverance, cooler weather, and sheer determination to get back to doing what I love.
We’re getting there. One tiny scale at a time.

✨🐉 Dragon Update! - I know - Finally! 🐉✨
It has been AGES since I last posted a dragon, and honestly… the summer heat absolutely wiped me out. Between the MS flare-ups and feeling like my brain had been left out in direct sunlight, I’ve not exactly been firing on all cylinders — unlike the heat, which was working overtime.
But I’m slowly getting my spark back; a huge part of that process is the neurographic art I started creating, and to celebrate, let me introduce Honeyglow Snippet — the tiniest, sweetest pastel troublemaker in the hoard. This little peach‑and‑cream munchkin has decided that red velvet cake is now a food group, and judging by the crumbs all over their face, they’re fully committed to the lifestyle.
She is handmade from Sculpey polymer clay; even the cake is handmade! The eyes are glass cabochons glued onto a design I made with PS. Honeyglow Snippet is my first proper dragon in what feels like forever, and I’m hoping this marks the start of my brain rebooting and my craft mojo returning. Here’s to cooler days, calmer bodies, and more dragons nibbling baked goods.
More updates soon; I’ve missed sharing these little creatures with you. 💛🐉🍰

Today’s creative chaos is brought to you by Neurographic Art - a style created by Russian psychologist Pavel Piskarev, and honestly… it’s become my new colourful therapy session.
✨ The Concept: It blends “neuro” (neural pathways) with “graphic” (visual expression), creating those brain‑cell‑looking webs of lines and connections. Basically: doodling like your neurons are having a rave.
✨ The Goal: It’s all about the process, not the final masterpiece. You just let the lines wander, soften the angles, and let your brain chill out for a minute.
✨ The Science: It’s linked to neuroplasticity and mindfulness — the idea is to interrupt mental rigidity by turning sharp angles into soft curves. A little visual rewiring for the stressed‑out brain.
And honestly? I love how free it feels. My MS tremors jump in whenever they fancy, and instead of fighting them, I let them become part of the artwork - little wiggly signatures of the day.
Apparently it’s meant to relieve stress and help with mindfulness.
Am I now a serene, enlightened being? Absolutely not.
But I am slightly calmer, and it has helped me create some art again. I need to de-stress my brain so I can focus on making some Dragons... so here’s today’s brain‑scribble. It’s messy, vibrant, and unapologetically mine.

I started this eerie little doodle today — call it therapy, call it me trying to reconnect with traditional art again. MS has taken so much from me, and drawing is one of those things I’ve always missed more than I admit.
The hand tremors are still loud and proud, but honestly… the creepy, organic theme does a cracking job of disguising the wobble. It turns the shakes into texture, into character, into something that actually works. 🤣
So here it is — shaky lines, weird little bubble‑creatures, soft colours creeping in. A bit of chaos, a bit of comfort, and a whole lot of me refusing to let go of something I love.
Therapy in ink. Creepy art as a coping mechanism. And you know what? It feels good.

✨🐉 Scrap‑Born Dragon Update! 🐉✨
The heat has finally chilled out (please, universe… let’s keep it that way), and I’ve managed to finish my latest scrap dragon at long last. This little gremlin has been waiting so patiently for me to stop sizzling and start sculpting again.
I also managed to take some photos of the new batch and… turns out I’ve made way more dragons than I realised. They’ve been quietly multiplying on the craft shelf like mischievous little goblins, plotting a full‑scale takeover of my craft space.
Now that the weather has cooled, I’m hoping I can get back to my normal rhythm: no more heatwaves, no melty clay, no extra MS flare ambushes thanks to the heat, just me, my dragons, and a slightly chaotic craft table.
More photos and introductions coming soon.
Prepare yourselves… the hoard is growing.
🐉💛🔥 (but like… a cool fire, not a heatwave fire)
(This is Zombuddle, an oldie but favourite of mine)

Heat spike number-whatever-I’ve lost count, and productivity has LEFT the building. My poor dragon WIP is half‑formed and probably wondering why its creator has abandoned it for cold drinks and complaining. I had good intentions to finish it this week... The weather had other ideas!
I cannot sculpt, I cannot focus, I cannot function. Heat turns my senses into soup, my head is a permanent headache, and I’m so over it.
Wake me up when the weather stops being rude. If anyone needs me, I’ll be lying dramatically on the floor until autumn saves me... 🥵😭🥶

After a few weeks of pure disruption with the heatwave doing its best impression of a personal nemesis, the MS flare tagging in like an over‑enthusiastic WWE wrestler, and that random cold that arrived uninvited like it had rent due, my creative mojo has been… gently simmering on the back burner.
But through all of that, this little orange scrap-born gremlin has been perched on my desk, waiting with the patience of a creature who knows he’s worth the effort. His marbled sunset colours, his bright little ears, his scrappy determination — he’s been quietly cheering me on while I’ve been piecing myself back together.
I’m finally getting there, slowly but surely, and he’s starting to come to life. He’s a WIP with attitude, a tiny embodiment of “we’re not done yet, we’re definitely not giving up.”
And honestly? Same, little dude. Same. 🤘🤪🤘

✨ New Beady Creation Incoming! ✨
Okay listen… I made something ridiculously cute, and I’m not even sorry. This tiny pastel mini‑backpack coin purse has fully activated my inner girly girl! The beads, the colours, the mama bear, the mini backpack- it’s basically a pocket‑sized serotonin dispenser, and I’m obsessed.
I’ve been having so much fun making these beaded bits; it makes it easy for me to stay creative when things get a little tough, so it’s got me thinking…👀 Would people be interested if I opened a little Etsy side‑shop just for the beaded creations?
Nothing dramatic, my dragons are still my heart, my main focus, and will always live on my website where they belong. But the beaded stuff feels like a fun extra corner of creativity, and Etsy might be a nice home for them. I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts.
Do you use Etsy?
Do you think it’s a good place for small, cute, handmade accessories like these?
Or should I keep everything under one roof?
Let me know — your opinions help me shape this little gremlin empire.

✨ Mochi Butterbean & Tibble Twizzleton ✨

Say hello to Mochi Butterbean, my very first scrap‑born dragon in these soft beige‑brown tones — and honestly, what better way to celebrate his arrival than with sweet‑treat goodness. He turned up holding a cupcake, like he has been on a sugar‑fuelled adventure, and of course Tibble Twizzleton insisted on tagging along, causing mischief from the top of his head like a tiny gremlin sidekick.

So, apologies for the lack of posts. It is still ridiculously hot in the UK; we are having yet another heat spike, and I’m melting faster than Mochi’s imaginary frosting. I’m struggling with even basic tasks at the moment because the heat wipes out every ounce of energy and brainpower. I can’t wear any nitrile gloves either, as my skin reacts badly when it’s this warm, which means sculpting becomes impossible unless the weather decides to calm down and stop acting like it’s auditioning for the Sahara. So for now, Mochi Butterbean and Tibble Twizzleton are here to bring a little sweetness while I wait (impatiently) for the temperature to drop.
Stay hydrated, stay shady, and send cold breezes my way. 🧁🐉💛

✨ WIP Dragon Update ✨

This little red troublemaker has been sitting on my desk giving me the side‑eye ever since the heatwave started last week. I began sculpting him just before everything turned into molten soup, and it’s been doing my head in not being able to work on anything since. Clay too soft, brain too melty — the whole lot. It's still warm, but thankfully it has cooled down a little. I seem to notice temperature spikes more acutely these days; the more I do, the hotter I feel, so I have to limit what I do even more than usual. I don't know if that's an MS thing or an age thing, or both! 🤣
But today, I finally managed to do a bit more on him. Still struggling, still pacing myself, but I needed to get my hands on something creative before I lost the plot entirely. He’s made from the red‑toned scrap clay I piled together, and honestly he’s turning out far cuter than any chaotic scrap‑heap dragon has the right to be. Don't judge the wonky ears; I have a plan. He’s still very much a WIP, but I’m proud of myself for getting even a little bit done today. Small victories, tiny dragons, and stubborn artists refusing to be defeated by the weather.
