"Every detail of art tells a story…

Here is another practice piece that I did with .ircica last year.

I carefully painted the border design of the illumination in yellow and green using the halkar technique. I had previously dyed the paper with tea to ensure that the eyes wouldn’t get tired. Every brushstroke carries effort, patience, and love.

✨ Islamic Illumination Art Practice ✨

Here’s a glimpse of my practice piece with .ircica last year, done with utmost care and precision. Using gouache in ultramarine and gold, I’ve painted this intricate design of mine, layering each detail with a tiny brush. The delicate strokes and rich colours truly bring out the beauty of this traditional art form. The background has been carefully painted to complement the composition, adding depth and harmony.

It’s a journey of patience and passion, and I’m excited to share this with you all. 🖌️✨
