What a transformation! 😍

This kitchen had previously painted cabinet doors that were ready for a fresh new look. Rather than rushing straight into another coat of paint, we took the time to clean, sand back and properly prepare the existing surfaces before refinishing them in this gorgeous keystone blue.

The result? A completely different look without the expense and disruption of replacing the entire kitchen! 🏡

🤍 When the laminate starts failing, does the kitchen need replacing?

Not necessarily.

This kitchen is a great example.

The existing laminate/coating had started to fail and was peeling away in several areas. Once that happens, simply painting over it isn’t the answer — the failing material needs to be dealt with properly first.

For this kitchen, we stripped the existing finish right back to the MDF, prepared the doors and panels, and then refinished everything in a brilliant white.

The result? 👇

A completely fresh-looking kitchen, without replacing the cabinets, worktops or layout.

This is one of the biggest advantages of professional kitchen refinishing.

✨ From tired oak to a fresh, timeless finish! ✨

Another kitchen transformation completed by OMG Kitchen Makeovers. 🙌

This lovely oak kitchen had great quality cabinets, but the colour was making the room feel dated. Rather than replacing the entire kitchen, we refinished all the doors and drawer fronts in a beautiful farrow and ball cream finish, giving it a completely new lease of life for a fraction of the cost of a new kitchen. 🤍

The existing black worktops, handles and flooring now contrast beautifully with the lighter cabinets, creating a brighter, cleaner and much more modern space while still keeping plenty of character. 🏡

This kitchen has had a complete glow-up from dated brown to the gorgeous Scallop Pink — and I’m absolutely loving how fresh and modern it now feels 😍

This green 🍃 with darker ☑️ handles is becoming really popular lately — especially in homes that want something a bit more unique than the standard white or grey.

It works really well with good lighting and natural tones.

Personally, refinishing to this scheme I think is a great way to make a kitchen feel more high-end without replacing everything.
