It’s FriYAY! So I thought I’d share a Fiona’s Faves post with you.

With all the excitement over our Apartment project, I’ve put together this collection of contemporary items which I think work beautifully together.

1. Pendant from O C H R E
2. Side table from COLLINSON
3. Coffee table from Kelly Wearstler Gallery
4. Sofa from Kelly Wearstler Gallery
5. Candle from Jo Malone London

I love the variety of materials; I think it always makes an interesting scheme. The timber on the side table ties in perfectly with the round feet on the sofa and the curves in all items give this scheme a really soft and homely feel.

Elephant’s Breath?

The beloved Farrow & Ball paint colour always gets a giggle but it’s one of the cosiest colours and we love it. We used it for the home office in our Bungalow project and paired with natural oak it’s just perfect.

Lights on 💡

We love to build a niche into our bathroom designs. It’s a really smart way store bottles.

We always aim to line up the grout lines and include a little light for some soft, layered lighting throughout the space.

If I show you my top 6 spaces, will you tell me which is your favourite?!

Comment below 👇🏻

1. The charcoal stained oak kitchen at our Apartment project is just so rich and cosy. The grass wall covering helps make this space feel really homely.
2. The corner of the master bedroom at our Rectory project has the most beautiful vignette. The scroll-arm occasional chair and full length motorised curtains are so elegant.
3. The wall of rustic square tiles gives the bathroom at our Bungalow project so much character. Plus, the bespoke shower screen that effortlessly wraps around the bench is divine.
4. I love the textured striped wallpaper and bespoke shaped headboard in the bedroom at our Bungalow project.
5. The master bedroom at our Apartment project is so luxurious. The double square edge panelling adds a lot of interest and everyone goes crazy over the herringbone glass cloth.
6. I think the living room at our Bungalow project is one of my favourite spaces. The colour drenched room is so cosy. The dark green bespoke cabinetry is lined with grass cloth and the teddy bear armchairs all add so much texture.

Would you be brave enough to colour drench your hall in a dark colour?

Well that’s exactly what we did at our apartment project. We wanted to create a Wow moment for anyone walking in from the unimaginative white washed communal corridor. We included layered lighting so that the art work could be highlighted, with two stunning wall lights either side from Laura Hammett Living

We love this space. What’s your thoughts?

Cloak rooms are the best place to have fun with wallpaper.

This concept sketch for a cloak room features the most beautiful wallpaper from Zoffany paired with This is The Paint. Dodie dark blue for the woodwork and ceiling. A match made in heaven 💙🩵

I’m still obsessed with this vignette.

We panelled the walls and lined them with a silk cloth. The walls are painted in Farrow & Ball Skimming Stone. The handmade curtains and Roman blinds in William Morris fabric from Sanderson add a subtle but interesting pattern to the space and the Calacatta Viola marble tops are just heaven.

This room underwent a huge transformation and the results are a space that feels elegant, calming but also packed with interest.
