🔧 Behind the Glass: Meet Martin Meek
Martin Meek is our Aluminium Fabrication Manager, working behind the scenes to help produce the aluminium frames that are used across many of our projects.
From technical drawings and preparation through to machining, assembly and quality checks, Martin plays an important role in making sure everything is fabricated accurately and ready for our installation teams.
While our fitters are out on site, Martin and the aluminium fabrication team are busy in the workshop, helping keep projects moving and ensuring products are built to specification before they leave the factory.
Having our own in-house aluminium fabrication facility is a real strength for Camel Glass. It gives us greater control over quality, lead times and communication, while allowing our teams to work closely together from survey through to installation.

A striking tessellated Gunmetal entrance door, crafted by our Inspiration Doors joinery team and installed by our Barnstaple team.

Even with the project still under construction, the door is already making a real architectural statement — with its layered geometric detailing, deep gunmetal finish and glazed sidelights helping to create a bold, contemporary entrance.

We’ll be heading back once the project is fully complete to capture the finished installation properly.

A lovely set of French doors installed by our Holsworthy team, opening the home up to a beautiful garden view 🌿

The glazed panels bring in plenty of natural light, while the clean white finish suits the character of the property perfectly.

Ready to leave our joinery workshop in Wadebridge.

This bespoke entrance door showcases a rich patina bronze finish with layered tones, movement and texture flowing across the surface to create a bold architectural statement.

Framed with contemporary black detailing and paired with a minimalist recessed pull handle, this design balances artistry with modern simplicity.

Great to get out on site recently and catch up with Terry and Dave at The Edge of the Beach in Bude to see this fantastic project up close.

One of the biggest highlights of the installation is seeing just how much the new aluminium frames have transformed the appearance of the property. The updated glazing has given the building a far more architectural feel, helping create a cleaner, more contemporary look that really makes the property stand out along the street.

It was also great to hear more from the team about the work involved on site and the attention to detail that goes into projects like this from start to finish.

The aluminium products featured on the project were all expertly manufactured in-house at our Holsworthy fabrication centre before being installed by our experienced team on site.

A stunning coastal installation completed by our Wadebridge team, featuring premium Rationel windows alongside the ultra-minimal Panoramah! sliding system.

Designed to maximise natural light and frame the incredible sea views, this project combines clean architectural lines with high-performance glazing throughout. From the expansive sliding glass opening to the carefully detailed roof windows and frameless glass balustrade, every element has been selected to create a bright, contemporary living space connected to its surroundings.

Ready to leave our joinery workshop in Wadebridge.

This bespoke entrance door features a handcrafted patina copper finish with striking verdigris tones, creating a completely unique surface full of depth, texture and character.
